The Information Collected and How We Use It

FriendBird collects and processes personal information that you fill in when registering (like your email address, name and postal address) for the provision of services. We collect it so you could create an account, exchange friendship bracelets and get emails from us. It is also used for statistics and improving the website.

FriendBird doesn’t sell your private information (postal address, email, name). For providing the exchange of friendship bracelets FriendBird shares users’ postal addresses only between users in a restricted way.

FriendBird uses your IP addresses to check whether users have registered from the same IP address. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

Credit Card or any Other Card Details

FriendBird will never ask for Credit Card or any other card details and requests that you do not enter it on any of the forms on this website.

Storage of the Information

It is impossible to delete your account due to the aspects of the implementation, however, if you don’t wish to use your account anymore, you can delete the information provided about yourself in your profile and you can delete your postal address and untick the box next to “I wish to participate in the friendship bracelet exchange” on the Settings -> Address page. Thus nobody will receive your address when requesting one to send a bracelet.

It is not possible to delete tutorials once they have been published. After publishing the tutorial it can be viewed by anyone on the web. So, please, make sure that you want to publish the tutorial that you created. You will see a confirmation window when you click on the “Publish” button and you have the right to decline publishing the tutorial there. You can delete any draft of the tutorial and the tutorial in review.

Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information sent to your browser by a website that you visit. FriendBird uses cookies for saving the information about the site’s language you have chosen, so next time it doesn’t change to the default one.

FriendBird displays advertisement banners in order to be able to bring this website to you. For that we use the services of third party vendors, like Google, which uses cookies to serve ads on FriendBird which are customized according to your interests and visits to our website and other ones. These cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information. FriendBird has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.
